Learning Express is a library database dedicated to providing test prep and skill building resources. Follow these instructions to find practice tests to help you prepare for the Praxis CKT Mathematics Subtest (7813)

• Click the link to Learning Express database below
• Sign In or Register for an Account. You do not have to use your Catawba username or password, although if you are off campus, you will be prompted to enter that information to get to this database. You are creating an account with Learning Express so you can save your progress and return to view ebooks. Therefore, you can select your own username and password but write them down so you don't forget them!
• Select the College Library Tab to access College resources
• Choose the Career Preparation Box from the grid
• Then, select Prepare for Teaching Exams
• Scroll down to Prepare for Praxis Subject Assessments where you can choose from Praxis Elementary Content Knowledge Preparation. There you will find 2 Practice Tests for the Praxis® Elementary Education: Mathematics—CKT (7813) 

YOUR TEXTBOOK

Chapters 18, 19 and 20 (measurement, geometry, and statistics) These topics are covered in your classes and it will be on the exam though it is covered more heavily in class.

YOUR OLD TESTS

Feel free to go by the School of Education and pick up your old tests to study from.

ERROR PATTERNS IN COMPUTATIONS

Do some of the Error Patterns in Computations problems. There will be similar problems on your exam.

Register for an account with Learning Express and search for Praxis 7813. There are 2 Praxis practice tests to work through.

240 TUTORING

For students who have access to 240 Tutoring, there is a course available for the Praxis Elementary Math licensure exam (Praxis 7813). It contains a diagnostic assessment, modules for math topics that may be helpful, and a practice test. You must completely study materials in order to access the practice test.
