Admission to North Carolina State-Approved Educator Preparation Programs
You can take the three tests separately or all at the same time (combined test 5752). It is a little less expensive to take them all together; but, some students feel they test better taking them separately. That choice is up to you.
Admission to North Carolina State-Approved Educator Preparation Programs
Higher education students seeking admission to North Carolina state-approved educator preparation programs must pass Praxis® Core Academic Skills for Educators (Core) tests or meet alternative testing requirements approved by the North Carolina State Board of Education. Post-bac students in the Birth-Kindergarten Licensure Add-On Degree are eligible to waive Praxis Core for acceptance into Teacher Education with at least a 3.0 GPA and advisor recommendation.
